Key people

Carl Brian, BSc Eng ACA, Chairman of both the Headcrown Group and the Cruden Group, is a graduate civil engineer and a chartered accountant by training.  Appointed to the main board in 1995, Carl previously worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Management Consulting division and subsequently for his own business.

Philip Ryan FCIOB, who in addition to being a member of the Headcrown Board, is Chairman of J. F. Finnegan Limited.  Philip, who joined J.F. Finnegan in 1995 and became Chairman in 2000, brings to the Board his extensive experience and proven expertise in construction and development gained from his forty years in the industry.  Prior to joining J.F. Finnegan, Philip was a regional director with Mowlem.

Simon Camamile MRICS brings to the Board a real expertise of the UK property market, being a leading member of Jones Lang LaSalle's National Investment Business and The Industrial Markets Business which he set up and ran from 1997.

London and throughout the UK together with development and funding advice, and management of business for clients. He has significant recent experience in a broad range of markets including industrial, retail, office and business park markets.

David Bolton BA joined the London law firm of Mckenna & Co where he qualified as a solicitor, having graduating from Oxford University with a law degree.

In 1969 he joined the leading City firm of Herbert Smith where he spent some 27 years in the Corporate Department, first as an associate then as a partner, handling corporate work for an extensive range of clients. More recently David has practised law as a consultant to a number of other London law firms. David also holds several directorships and was until recently a non-executive director of Cosalt plc.

Sonia Brian, was appointed Company Secretary 21^st March 1995 and then a Director of Headcrown Group plc on the 29^th April 1996.  Aside from her statutory responsibilities, Sonia administers the Head office and takes responsibility for a number of central functions including treasury and group health insurance.
