Headcrown Group Companies collect a host of Building Excellence Awards


Headcrown Group Companies collect an array of awards around the country.


Gee South Wales has been victorious in winning the 2010 LABC CYMRU All Wales Awards for the Ffos Las Racecourse, Crmarthenshire in the Technical Innovation Category and as the Winner are now representing Wales at the 2010 LABC National (England and Wales) Building Excellence later this year.


Meanwhile over in Merseyside and Manchester, Cruden Construction Group were nominated and triumphant in collecting three Building Excellence Awards from the Local Authority Building Control.  Cruden took the Best Large Housing Development, the Best Community Development and the Best Education Development.  Since an awards deems the winners to be in the top 1% of performers, to receive three awards is an outstanding achievement.



Cruden went on to be named a winner at the nationally prestigious Housing Design Awards for the scheme recently completed at Heald Farm Green (the Larchfield Village scheme ).  In the HAPPI category the Cruden scheme received exceptionally high praise from the distinguished judging panel.


Housing our Ageing Population Panel for Innovation ( HAPPI ) was commissioned to gather good practice from across Europe and has put together new and creative proposals to help put the UK ( via the HCA & the DoH ) at the forefront of housing for older people. The ambition is to create sustainable and inclusive homes and neighbourhoods which our ageing population want and can afford.
