As part of our continuing efforts to improve customer service we have now completed our implementation of the new IT system, managing all of the service delivery processes within Cruden Property Services ("CPS"). This will allow us to improve our service to Housing Associations in the North West, meeting their residents' repairs and maintenance needs quickly and efficiently.
The system, which launched for the Harvest Housing Group's Repairs and Maintenance Contract at the end of 2011, built on a number of modules, including intelligent works management, OPTI Time job scheduling and electronic purchase order management, combined with state of the art mobile working. This allows the CPS operatives in the field to view and update their jobs in real time while enabling office and field based teams to work seamlessly together.
The Implementation Team from CPS was made up of representatives from around the company drawing on experience from developing the previous in house IT system as well as lessons from third party implementations, to design and deliver the new system. This is the largest IT investment project launched with Cruden.
